To get the boat off the trailer
Find four "good" sized tyres
Remove everything out of the boat
Attach the trailer to the car
Position two of the tyres approximately 6 feet behind the trailer
Back winch the boat until the stern drops down onto the tyres
Tie the stern of the boat back to a tree - by passing a rope through the rudder slot
Carefully drive the car forward
and allow the boat to drop down onto two further tyres place under the keel
The boat is then quite safe and stable
