A pleasant evenings sail past Peel Island - part of the Swallows and Amazons story.
Saturday morning started grey and no wind. The club was part of the RYA's "Push out the Boat" event and several club members spent the day encouraging new members to try out a boat. We'd hoped for a few Drascombes, in the end there were three of us. Later in the day the wind filled in and the sun broke out.
A friend's Longboat Cruiser has a personally designed cockpit tent. The zip on door can be replaced by a clear one or midge net.
Sunday dawned much like Saturday, but very soon a strong southerly breeze filled in, which left us needing to use our mizzen and jib only.
